Q&A: Jetstar - Bulkheads on the A320 and booking seats

Published: 21/12/2010   RSS

Question

Hi,

I have looked at your web sites but can’t find the above. As a party of 4 adults and a 3YO travelling from Brisbane to Perth at night and both my son and I are tall I would like to get the location of the bulkhead rows if possible. You can refer to our bookings (6WOAH2 & 6W8UHD)

Look forward to your reply with suggestions or plan

Regards,

David Bruins

Answer

Hello David,

Jetstar has two configurations of the A320. The first flies on routes within Australia and New Zealand, and the second on intra-Asian flights.

If you would like to choose your seat, follow the link below. You’ll need to sign-in with your booking reference and email address. It may be that you booked through a travel agent, in which case you’ll have to ask them for the Jetstar reference. Your travel agent may have supplied you with their own booking reference.

As for the bulkheads, it appears that seats DEF in the first row might face the wall to the forward kitchen. The exit rows are 12 and 13, normally you could go for these but most airlines require that anyone sitting in exit rows be of a certain age and able to help in an emergency. Perhaps go for rows 11 and 12, or 13 and 14, with two adults and the child sitting in the non-exit row.

All the best and happy flying,
