Norwegian is a budget carrier which mainly operates new generation Boeing 737-800s.
Twelve of these aircraft have the maximum 189 seats onboard, the same high-density configuration as a UK charter airline. However, all new deliveries have only 186 seats, which gives a little more legroom. These new generation aircraft are replacing the older 148-seat 737-300s.
You will pay extra for most things, including hold baggage. A fee is levied for seat reservations and there are charges for all food and drink onboard.
Films are shown on overhead screens on flights longer than 3.5 hours and Norwegian is claiming a first by fitting wi-fi to its fleet throughout 2012. All will be complete by the end of the year.

Norwegian is probably one of the best airline out there in Europe. There is absolutely nothing to complain about Norwegian Air Shuttle. Its easy, cheap, punctual, modern planes. This company is here to stay. Much, much better than other big "traditional" airlines (no names mentioned) more
