Caribbean Airlines (airline code BW) is the national airline of Trinidad and Tobago.

Ownership

Caribbean Airlines was incorporated in the Republic of Trinidad & Tobago on 27 September 2006, beginning flight operations on 1 January 2007 with 128 weekly departures to 10 markets, operating five Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

Route Network

Caribbean Airlines operates a primarily domestic network hopping around the various islands as well as connecting several major US, South American and Canadian cities.

As of June 2012 Caribbean Airlines will serve the UK with four flights a week non-stop between Gatwick Airport and Piarco International airport in Port of Spain, with a further three flights per week operating via Barbados.

Other Information

Caribbean Airlines Limited operates both Caribbean Airlines and Air Jamaica brands and as such is also the flag carrier to Jamaica through its brand, Air Jamaica.
