Ownership
bmi and its subsidiaries were purchased from Lufthansa Group by British Airways' holding company International Airlines Group (IAG) in 2011 for £172.5 million. BA will close the Bmibaby unit in September 2012 and has sold Bmi regional to Sector Aviation Holdings Ltd for £8 million.
