The United Express brand is made up of about 10 separate airlines which fly from various points in the US. These include Cape Air, Colgan Air, Mesa Airlines, SkyWest Airlines and Shuttle America.
As such, your contract will be with the individual carriers rather than United, although their aircraft will carry the United livery.
Together, these airlines operate more than 550 aircraft, mainly small to medium-sized jets.
United Express operates from United's main hubs including Houston, New York Newark and Washington Dulles.
It also flies from key regional points to connect to the main hubs. Main regional focus points include Cleveland, Tampa, Fort Lauderdale and Portland.
