Flight search
Economy seating on short-haul aircraft generally offers a 31-inch pitch, but it can be as little as 29 inches. Seats are all around 17 inches wide. For an exact guide, click here.
On domestic flights departing before 10am, passengers receive a sandwich. After this time, a sandwich or salad is accompanied by snacks. On international flights, a hot or cold meal is served depending on duration.
Turkish has begun installation of its new Sky Interior onboard selected aircraft (B737-800 and B737-900ER). This features newly upholstered leather seats (as shown in the class image), LED mood lighting and a more specious feel due to streamlined sidewalls and overhead bins.

A 737-900ER turned up at Edinburgh, unexpectedly replacing the usual A319 on the flight down to Istanbul. I had pre-selected seat 8A. Check-in: I checked in online (on my iPhone, using the Turkish Airlines app) 24 hours before my flight(s) which were operating from Ankara via Istanbul, back to London.
