On domestic flights departing before 10am, passengers receive a sandwich. After this time, a sandwich or salad is accompanied by snacks. On international flights, a hot or cold meal is served depending on duration.
Turkish has begun installation of its new Sky Interior onboard selected aircraft (B737-800 and B737-900ER). This features newly upholstered leather seats (as shown in the class image), LED mood lighting and a more specious feel due to streamlined sidewalls and overhead bins.

A 737-900ER turned up at Edinburgh, unexpectedly replacing the usual A319 on the flight down to Istanbul. I had pre-selected seat 8A.
