I prebooked our seats in row 5, these turned out to be rubbish. They are situated right behind the old "Upper class" seats which have a curtain behind them obscuring the view to the front of the plane, and concequently the steward doing the safety drill. There are two windows, neither of which are easy to look out of. The plane was ex First Choice and needs something done to the inside, like renewing the seats. The walk at Gatwick North both to & from the plane is unaccepable.

Travelled to Enfidha airport.. Tunisia. Flight on time both ways. Plane clean and crew very pleasant Only a 3hr 15 min flight. No entertainment on plane. Didn't buy any snacks as thought they were pricey and have tasted on other thomson flights. Plane did not seem to be as cramped as when travelling to Cape Verde again with thomson.

We have flown with Thomson several times and this flight was as good as our previous experiences. Flight went out and returned on time. Staff were helpful and courteous.

Very poor experience, from arrogant lack of service at Exeter airport to poor seating on aircraft. Given you have to pay for the food the least they could do is try to make it edible. Unfortunately they are the only choice for EXT/MAH. So next year we will choose a different holiday destination

My wife and I booked on-line for a Thomson flight from Exeter Airport to Madeira Airport in March 2011 and paid for reserved seats and meals.

Check-in at Exeter was quick and trouble-free, except that the seats we were allocated were not the seats we had reserved - the seats we were given were a few rows further back, over the wing.

Seat-pitch was minimum - knees hard against the seat-back in front.

Push-back and take-off were on-time and the flight was smooth with very little turbulence.

Cabin-crew were young, smiling and helpful, with a lot to do.

The meal was quite good - small pot of ice-cold chopped mango; small tub of orange-juice; omelet and tomato with mashed potato; roll and Flora; small tub of chocolate pudding; tea or coffee.

Entertainment - a film to watch, with purchased earphones.

Interesting and helpful flight commentary from the Captain.

The four-hour flight-time seemed to pass quickly; to the pre-landing safety announcement, a curving descent, and a firm landing on the short and "challenging" Funchal runway.

This A320 was the most comfortable A320 I have ever been on. There is more room on it than the ones operated by Thomas Cook and Monarch airlines. The ex-First Choice crew were funny and friendly to everyone. The sevice was great too.

The seats were too close together, there was no leg room and the journey was very uncomfortable. Although I had an aisle seat I could not stretch my leg out because the asile is so narrow there's barely enough room for one person to get by.
