Thai Airways has a small fleet of Boeing 777-200 aircraft which seat 309 passengers.
The 777-200 fleet is being refitted, with all due to be complete by mid 2013.
These have 30 Royal Silk Class seats with new in-flight entertainment system and 10.4 inch personal screen fitted to the existing seats (170 degree recline, 60 inch seat pitch, 20 inch seat width).
Economy Class has been retrofitted with 279 new seats having a 32-inch seat pitch. Seats are 18 inches wide and have a new entertainment system and 9-inch screen.
Please note:
-
Thai Airways sometimes uses long-range aircraft on domestic, regional and other short haul flights, for example Bangkok to Singapore.
-
Thai Airways is known to change its aircraft roster with very little notice, and out of line with the published timetabling. Unfortunately this makes it hard to predict which aircraft type you'll be on.
