The Airbus A330 is a wide-body twin jet used mainly on long-haul routes, but please note:
Thai Airways sometimes uses long-range aircraft on domestic, regional and other short haul flights, for example Bangkok to Singapore.
Thai Airways is known to change its aircraft roster with very little notice, and out of line with the published timetabling. Unfortunately this makes it hard to predict which aircraft type you'll be on.
Although these aircraft may have first class cabins, these seats are not sold on short flights - online economy and business class fares are available
This version of the A330 has 263 seats in economy and 36 seats in business. Configuration 2 is commonly known as Version 330. The frames were delivered to Thai Airways from '09 to '11 and feature Thai's standard business and economy products with personal televisions in both economy and busines.
The registrations of these frames are: HS-TEN, TEO, TEP, TEQ, TER, TES, TET, TEU.
Currently there are 8 frames of Configuration 2 in active service.
TG uses these frames virtually on all its scheduled A330 routes, but primarily on middle- and long-haul routes that are heavy on premium traffic, e.g. DXB, PER, NRT, KIX, ICN.
