Thai Airways' short-haul business class, known as Royal Silk Class, is an older-style product that offers a large seat, two abreast seating and a separate cabin.
A full meal service is provided plus extensive bar.
At Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport, Royal Silk Class passengers have, before they proceed to any of six Royal Silk lounges, their own exclusive check-in lounge with separate fast-track immigration channels. The lounges provide wi-fi in private meeting rooms and work areas.
Royal Silk Class passengers also enjoy priority reservations, baggage handling and late boarding privileges. They have a generous 66 lbs. (30kg.) baggage allowance, 125% mileage accrual with Thai’s Royal Orchid Plus frequent flyer program, plus the use of Thai and Star Alliance airport lounges worldwide.
