SWISS uses its Avro RJ100 aircraft on over 20 different European routes.

The Avro RJ 100 has four powerful engines, which makes it a good option for airports with short runways, hence its use on the London City-Zurich route, for example. The aircraft has been nicknamed the Jumbolino, because of its particularly spacious cabin and four jet engines, or Whisperjet, because of its low noise emissions.

The aircraft seats 97 passengers - 57 in economy and 40 in business. In economy and business, the seating configuration is 2-3, (A,B - D,E,F).
