Singapore Airlines has several different types of economy class seating.
The carrier's new economy class is fitted on Airbus A380, A330 and Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. These seats have a 10.6-inch wide personal entertainment screen which offers 100 movies, including the latest blockbusters.
There are more than 180 TV shows, an extensive library of 700 CDs and over 20 radio channels as well as 3D games, all available through a seatback-mounted handset. There is also a USB port located on the new economy class seat personal console, allowing passengers to access business software and create documents, spreadsheets and presentations.
Economy Class passengers receive amenity kits comprising a toothbrush set and a pair of knitted socks on overnight flights exceeding four and a half hours and day flights exceeding eight hours.
A range of toiletries including eau de cologne, aftershave and moisturising hand lotion are available in all Economy Class washrooms. Additionally, toothbrush sets, combs, and disposable razors sets are also available.

Shortly after take-off from Singapore on June 28th there was an awful, extremely loud repetitive whining noise that sounded like the wheels were trying to retract but couldn't.
