Economy seating on Saudia's long-haul fleet offers a comparatively generous 34-inch pitch, up to three inches more than most carriers. Seats on long-haul aircraft are 17 inches wide and have a 38 degree recline. They are fitted with wing-style head restraints, lumbar support and a footrest.
Meals include several main options - an Arabic and a western dish plus a dish from the destination country and a vegetarian choice.
Entertainment is via personal monitors that are up to nine inches across. The AVOD system has between 24 and 40 channels depending on aircraft and more than 12 audio stations and video games plus forward and downward-facing cameras.
Short-haul aircraft have smaller legroom and will not have personal TVs.

Since Saudi Airlines have had aircraft refurbished, the quality of service has improved. The food is excellent and the staff are attentive. The entertainment system isn't great, but has improved. more
