Saudia (airline code SV) is the flag carrier of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia based at Jeddah's King Abdulaziz International Airport (JED).

Formerly known as Saudi Arabian Airlines, Saudia joined the SkyTeam alliance in May 2012 and reintroduced the Saudia name it held from 1972 to 1996.

Ownership

Saudia was founded by the Saudi government in 1945 and has undergone a privatisation process on the Saudi Stock Exchange.

Route Network

The airline has an extensive network from Riyadh, the Saudi capital and main commercial centre; from Jeddah, the second city and Dammam. Riyadh and Jeddah are well-served in terms of long-haul destinations as well as connections throughout the Middle East.
