SAS offers an Economy Extra product on all non-domestic flights.
Long-haul Economy Extra seats are in a 2-3-2 configuration. The seats have manually adjustable neck rests, and foot rests. All seats are equipped with a 6.4” personal screen AVOD and have laptop power. Passengers enjoy wider (47cm/18"), more comfortable seats with almost a metre (38") of legroom in a separate cabin.
Customers can check in at Business class counters and are eligible for Fast Track security (where available), as well as priority boarding. Passengers are also entitled to greater baggage allowance, both in the hold and to take onboard.
Onboard, Economy Extra passengers receive a pre-departure drink; a cocktail and snack; a three-course dinner and coffee/tea with liqueurs; drinks, fruit and cold snacks between meals; and a meal prior to landing. All Economy Extra passengers also receive a comfort kit and a personal water bottle.
On short-haul flights Economy Extra seats are the same as economy but are located further forward and the middle seat is not sold, to offer more space. A meal and drink service as well as priority check-in and boarding are also included.
Update March 2013:
SAS was due to change its domestic and European service classes, replacing the current economy, economy extra and business with two new products: SAS Go and SAS Plus.
SAS Go passengers are allowed one piece of checked luggage and complimentary tea and coffee, plus the option to buy food on board (as is currently the case for economy passengers).
SAS Plus passengers will get additional benefits including a second piece of checked luggage, fast track security and lounge access, complimentary in-flight food and drink, and double the number of Euro Bonus points.
SAS is offering a new onboard service concept, where the traditional airplane food will be replaced with a café style.

Best premium economy product? Good seats, divider economy/premium thru the flight=stress free travel. Senior staff means professionalism. Maybe à bit to much Scandinavian cool at times. If travelling to US do not travel via Norway. SAS Norway has some serious problem with sense for service. Danish and Swedish crew are much better! more

Review of SAS economy extra - Bangkok - Copenhagen ( A 340-300 ) This was the first time i flew economy extra long haul and i was both impressed and not so impressed.
