Qatar Airways took delivery of its first B787 Dreamliner in November 2012. The aircraft operates on the Heathrow-Doha route and will fly to other long-haul destinations including Zurich, Frankfurt and Delhi.
The aircraft contains 254 seats in a two-class configuration with 22 fully flat seats in business class and 232 in economy. An iTouch touch control unit provides access to over 1,000 movies, programming and audio entertainment options, and other features include iPorts and USB ports and remote data outlets.
Qatar Airways has 30 Dreamliner aircraft on order, with options on another 30.
