Qatar Airways has 12 A320-200s in two configurations, both two class (economy and business/first), flying routes betweeen the Middle East, south Asia and Europe.
As seen here, the aircraft carries 144 passengers in two classes; 132 passengers in economy with a 3-3 (A,B,C - D,E,F) configuration and 12 passengers in business/ first class in a 2-2 (A,C - D,F).
Qatar is also receiving another 24 Airbus A320 family aircraft, including 18 Airbus A320s and four A321s from 2010 to December 2012. The new aircraft will have individual seat back TV screens showing personal audio and video on demand (AVOD) entertainment.
The new single-aisle A320s, operating on selected routes in the Middle East, Europe and South Asia, feature a wide choice of movies, TV programmes in different languages, as well as up to 500 international CD albums. The TopSeries system, which also includes interactive games, has been developed and installed by French company, Thales.
