Qantas now has a second version of its A380 super-jumbo with 34 more seats (total of 484 from 450 in the original Qantas A380 config.). This includes 39 more economy seats, most on the upper deck, three more premium economy seats, eight less business class seats and fewer toilets and self-serve bars.
Twelve A380s are to be configured this way by April 2013 and will be deployed on long-haul legs such as Los Angeles and London.
The Qantas A380 features include:
*Completely redesigned First cabin, offering customers privacy and luxury in their own First Suite.
*Fully-flat next generation Skybed and separate, dedicated lounge area in Business.
*The airline's Premium Economy cabin, with extra wide Recaro seats.
*New ergonomically designed Recaro seats and self-service refreshment bars in Economy.
*On demand entertainment system with over 1,000 options and onboard connectivity.
