Peach will start operating KIX - Sapporo route and KIX - Fukuoka route in March 2012, and KIX-Seoul (Inchon) in May 2012.
Peach's plan is to be a bridge between Japan and Asia by offering reasonable air fares.
Kansai airport is planning to construct a new terminal building for budget passengers in the second half of 2012. It will be 30,000 square metres and equipped with 9 aprons.
Peach's aircraft will be painted pink. The name, according to the website, "is inspired by the Peach fruit which is a casual and familiar fruit for everyone well-known and loved across Asia as a symbol of good luck, long life, prosperity, energy and happiness since ancient times in the case of the Japanese peach, beloved for its taste and beautiful shape by Asian people.
Our name Peach is infused with the essence of all these qualities, providing easy and fun flights connecting Japan and Asia."
