Monarch's A300-600 wide-bodied aircraft are among the oldest in its fleet. They seat 352 passengers in a one-class, economy configuration arranged 3-3-3, although in winter this is reconfigured to offer a premium cabin as well.
The A300 is used on medium-haul routes such as to Egypt's Red Sea coast. These aircraft were due to be replaced with new Boeing Dreamliners but this order was cancelled in September 2011 and these aircraft will not now be retired until 2014.
