Malev
Malev Hungarian Airlines (airline code MA) is the national carrier of Hungary, founded in1946 (as the Hungarian-Soviet Civil Air Transport Joint Stock Company).
Ownership
In 2007, the Hungarian State Privatisation and Holding Company (APV) sold its 99.5% stake in Malev to AirBridge, a company 51% owned by two Hungarian investors and controlled by the Russian airline magnate Boris Abramovich. Airbridge also aquired an additional 0.45% of Malev from small shareholders.
