More
Lufthansa's Airbus A380s are in a three-class configuration accommodating 526 passengers. There is a completely new design First Class cabin and a Business Class cabin on the upper deck with Economy Class on the main deck.
A new passenger handling area between the C and D concourses in Terminals 1 and 2 at Frankfurt Airport was opened to handle the aircraft, with two waiting areas and piers allowing passengers to board flights direct from two separate levels.
First, Business and Economy-Class passengers go into separate areas as soon as they access the waiting and boarding zone.
These gates, designed in Lufthansa business-lounge style, offer comfortable waiting zones with easy chairs to relax in, as well as workstations equipped with wireless Internet access and spacious bistros serving drinks and light menus.
First-Class passengers as well as HON Circle members or Senators have the use of an exclusive Senator Lounge.
