UPDATE December 15 2010: Lufthansa has officially unveiled new short- and mid-haul seating, to be installed in its A319s, A320s, A321s, B737-300s and -500s. Lufthansa hopes to have completed reftrofitting 180 aircraft by the end of 2011. The new seats will be thinner, giving more legroom while at the same time allowing Lufthansa to fit in extra rows.
Lufthansa currently has 46 A320-200s (as of November 2010), with a further 26 on order, flying German-domestic and other European routes.
Each has 146 seats, with 32 in business and 114 in economy. This is set to rise to 158 seats as part of the retrofit - for more on the new 158-seat version, featuring the new seating, click here.
