Korean Air launched its first Airbus A380 in June 2011 on regional routes between Seoul, Tokyo Narita and Hong Kong. It also operates the aircraft to Frankfurt, Paris, New York, Los Angeles and Atlanta - home of Skyteam partner Delta.

The carrier ordered 10 A380s, most of which are now in its fleet.

Korean Air’s premium configuration of the A380 means it has only 407 seats: 12 first class and 301 economy class seats on the lower deck, and 94 Prestige (business) Class seats on the upper deck. The carrier was the first airline to devote the entire upper deck of the A380 to business class. There is also a duty free 'showcase' at the back of the lower deck.

First Class on Korean Air's A380s is the airline's latest "Kosmo Sleeper Suite" concept. Click here for more details.
