There are 26 KLM Cityhopper Fokker 70 short-haul aircraft in KLM's fleet, with a maximum capacity of 80 passengers.
The plane is configured in two classes, economy with 30 seats and Europe Business (KLM's short-haul business class product) with up to 30 seats. This, however, can vary according to the size of the business cabin needed.
After having introduced Economy Comfort on its Boeing 737 fleet, KLM is rolling out Economy Comfort on the KLM Cityhopper fleet during the winter 2013/14.
The Fokker 70 aircraft will be equipped with new ACRO light weight slim seats in a changed seat configuration, which we will update in due time. Since the beginning of August two Fokker 70 aircraft are flying with these new seats.
KLM Cityhopper is based at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol in the Netherlands, and is the regional airline subsidiary of the carrier.
