KLM has a fleet of ten A330-200s with another two on order. The first of these aircraft was introduced in August 2005, and entered commercial service on the Amsterdam-Washington Dulles route. The planes now serve long-haul routes between Europe, Africa, the Middle East and North America.
Airbus A330-200s are fitted with the new economy class and World Business Class products, with average seat pitches of 31 inches (79cm) and 33 inches (84cm) accordingly.
