The standard seat pitch on Jetstar's Airbus A320 is 30 inches (76 cm) and if you want more legroom in the exit row, you will have to pay for it (unless you purchase a flexible JetFlex fare), and fit the legal criteria. Exit seats offer an extra eight inches (20cm) of legroom on A320 flights and another 15 inches (38cm) on A330 routes.
Jetstar's new
Airbus A320s feature all leather slim-line seats which the airline claims have an extra inch (2.5 cm)
of width compared to others.
The economy seat pitch on the Airbus A330 is 31 inches (78 cm). On international services operated by A330 aircraft and limited international services operated by A320 and A321s, economy passengers can pre-select and pay for food when they book. Alternatively, you can purchase food on board. Pre-purchased meals include unlimited non-alcoholic drinks, but additional snacks and alcohol must be purchased inflight.
Economy passengers who do not pre-select and pay for meals will be able to purchase a meal during meal services but choice of meal is not guaranteed.
All Economy passengers will be given a complimentary bottle of water at the beginning of their flight. There is also a water fountain in the cabin. All other beverages, including additional bottled water must be paid for.
On A330 services, there are a limited quantity of Video on Demand units available for hire. Passengers can reserve a unit when they book or on board. Identification is needed. Throughout Economy, there will also be several screens along the aisles showing films and TV programmes. A charge is made for headsets.

Jetstar operates up to 9 daily flights between Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. This review is for one of the morning flight which is scheduled to depart at 11.20am and arrive in Singapore at 12.30pm. I was traveling with a friend. We arrived at Kuala Lumpur International Airport around 9am after around 1 hour on the road skipping much of morning rush hour traffic.... more

I have flown Jetstar numerous times, and yes the seats are incredibly uncomfortable but like other users say you get what you pay for. I travel domestically from Perth approximately 4-5 times per year, I have paid $200 return to Sydney compared to $600 when I flew with QANTAS. Service was just as professional and they offer entertainment for $10.00 to hire an iPad.... more
