Flight search
Jet2 (airline code LS) is based at Leeds/Bradford airport. It is a no-frills airline serving the main leisure destinations but also has a number of scheduled services to cities like Amsterdam and Dusseldorf.
Jet2 began passenger services in 2001 and became a low-cost carrier in 2003. It now operates 21 Boeing 737s and nine 757s and has six UK bases.
Ownership
Jet2 is owned by The Dart Group, an aviation and distribution company which is quoted on the London Stock Market. The airline part of the group began life as Channel Express, serving freight and Royal mail contracts. The group has operated aircraft for 30 years.
Route Network
Jet2 serves 90 destinations from its bases at Leeds/Bradford, Manchester, Blackpool, Belfast International, Edinburgh and Newcastle. The bulk of its flights are short-haul, but it also operates to Egypt and seasonally, from Leeds/Bradford to New York.
