Ownership
Iberia is a privatised airline listed on the Madrid Stock Exchange. Its main shareholders are: Caja Madrid (23.45 per cent), British Airways (13 per cent) and El Cortes Ingles (2.9 per cent). It is planned that Iberia and BA will merge in 2010 with BA becoming the major shareholder.
