Germania (airline code ST) is a charter and budget airline based in Berlin. Its main operating base is at Berlin's Tegel airport. (Tegel airport is scheduled to close from October 27 2013 and operations transferred to the newly built Berlin Brandenburg Airport south of the city). Germania also has a smaller base at Dusseldorf airport.

Germania was founded in 1979 as SAT (Special Air Transport) in Cologne by Hinrich Bischoff, changing its name to Germania in 1986.

The airline operates charter services plus scheduled flights from Germany to destinations including Turkey, Lebanon and Iraq as well as to mainstream holiday destinations througout Europe.

Germania operates flights as Gambia Bird from Germany and the UK to Banjul, the Gambian capital.

Germania also operates from the UK to Greece on behalf of tour operators Sunvil and The Villa Collection.
