Although Flybe's fleet has a single-class configuration, there are advantages for business travellers that book its Economy Plus fare category which extend beyond the in-flight experience.

Economy Plus is billed as the UK’s only low cost business service. Tickets are fully changeable, so if you need to change your flight itinerary, even at the last minute, you can and at no extra charge - useful if your meeting finishes early or overruns. Passengers can also choose their seat at no extra charge, unlike those travelling on economy tickets.

Onboard, Flybe offers a standard 30-inch seat pitch, although this is an inch more than any other no-frills airline. As they have free advance seat selection, they have the pick of extra legroom seats.

Economy Plus also gives free online check-in, a dedicated customer account that permits booking amendment and free seat selection. It also permits a very generous free 40kg hold baggage allowance (30kg on flights operated by Loganair) plus one piece of cabin baggage and a laptop bag. At the airport, there is a separate check-in desk, fast track security and executive lounge access with wifi.

Economy Plus passengers get complimentary hot and cold drinks, snacks and sandwiches. Passengers also get double Rewards4all points. With two points for every one way flight, you earn a free economy return flight with every four Economy Plus return flights. Points can also be redeemed against lounge use.
