More
Emirates received its first Boeing 777-200LR (Long Range) in August 2007.
This ultra long-range aircraft features angled lie-flat seats in business, and suites in first class. It is designed to fly, for example, non-stop between Dubai and important oil and business centres in the Americas.
The 777-200LR debuted on the carrier's Dubai-Sao Paulo flights in 2007, which was the first direct route between the Middle East and South America.
