Eva Air has two types of business class seating on its long haul fleet. The Super Business seat is found on EVA's B747 Combi aircraft. It is an older-style business seat with a 44-inch pitch on this wide-body aircraft.

Flight from Taipei to Paris. Premium Laurel is really a good class. Check in was swift. The lounge wasn't that good in food selection, but sure beats waiting in the uncomfortable chairs outside the gate. Seat on the plane was good as always, very spacious and comfortable. We used the Eva Air lounge at Bangkok (relatively crowded but we found a pair of seats near a window) for our flight from Bangkok in March 2012. Boarding was called but when we arrived at the gate there was a queue for about 10 mins - no separation of ticket classes until the last minute.
