Delta's premium economy product, known as Economy Comfort, is offered on both domestic and international flights on most aircraft types.

Unlike some carriers, notably fellow Skyteam member Air France, Delta has chosen not to design a dedicated cabin for premium economy, instead using the first few rows of the standard economy seating. Economy Plus seating offers up to four inches more legroom and a 50% extra recline.

This means a pitch of up to 36 inches on short-haul flights and up to 37 inches on long-haul aircraft.

Economy Plus passengers will also board early and enjoy complimentary beer, wines and spirits during the flight, items for which Economy passengers on domestic flights must pay for.

On international flights, Economy Plus passengers get free spirits in addition to beer and wine, which is complimentary for all economy passengers.
