Continental has now introduced its new fully flat bed in BusinessElite on the B777-200ER.
One rumour was that the configuration will be reduced from 50 BusinessElite seats and 235 economy seats, to 50 BusinessElite fully flat bed and 226 economy seats. This has now been confirmed as correct, as show in the configuration here.
This makes sense, since a flat bed takes up more room (lengthwise) than the current seat. To make up that room, nine economy seats have been removed from economy, namely 27DEF and 28 ABC -JKL.
