Magnifica is Alitalia's long haul business class product.
On the Boeing 777 aircraft the business class seating is in Recaro chairs with a 55° recline. Seats have a 60-inch pitch and are 21 inches wide.
The Airbus A330 fleet is being fitted with new leather seats that extend into a fully flat bed position, with a massage function. The 1-2-1 layout is designed for those travelling individually or in pairs, on "honeymoon" seats.
These seats have individual 15.4-inch TV screens with a privacy device which allows only the passenger occupying the seat to view. Other touches include mood lighting, with duvets and Frette pillows, cutlery and glasses designed by Richard Ginori and Bulgari wellbeing amenity kits with exclusive products for personal care.
Entertainment is an On Demand system, offering passengers a choice between 16 films, which can be paused and re-started at any time, plus three themed channels from a range including sport, news, documentaries, fashion and culture, comedy, kids and music videos.
