Air Mauritius's new business class cabin is fitted to its Airbus A330 and A340-300E aircraft (E is for extended range).
The orange leather seats turn into inclined flat-beds with a pitch of 60 inches. While this is less than on some of Air Mauritius' competitors on its main routes, it does mean the seats are more fairly priced.
The Air Mauritius cabin is configured 2-2-2 and the 34 seats have the latest AVOD system via a 10.4-inch screen. Entertainment choices include 31 video options plus 60 CDs. Seats have a 110-volt power supply.
In-flight service includes a choice of three main courses plus Brut Champagne and French wines.
On short-haul routes on the Airbus A319-100, there are 16 seats offering a 38-inch pitch in a 2-2 layout. The seats are the converter type which consequently look like economy seats but which offer far more general comfort.

Very nice lounge at Heathrow and also Mauritius. Good (but not overwhelming) food and champagne on board. Seat was very comfortable, both for relaxing / dining and sleeping. Boarding was efficient, avoiding the general stampede. Not as good a selection of films and music as on some carriers. more
