Air France is gradually replacing its long-haul Boeing 747 family, but still retains 14 of the B747-400 aircraft.
These aircraft are configured in two different ways, depending on route.
The three-class version ("les Nouveaux
Espaces du voyage") has Economy (Tempo),
Business (L'Espace Affaires) plus Alize on the Upper Deck (a total of
436 passengers).
The two-class version is used on the Caribbean/Indian
Ocean routes and has Economy (Tempo) and Business (L'Espace
Affaires), a total of 477 passengers.
Air France's Boeing 747 fleet does not feature L'Espace Premiere (First) class.
