Premium Affaires seating on this aircraft is configured 2-2 (A,C - D,F), with the middle seat left vacant and used as a tray. Seats 1A and 2F are for infants.
The business class cabin can extend as far back as row seven if needed.
Air France has fitted new seats on its A319s, A320s and A321s. The Recaro-designed seat is lighter than the current short haul one, and apparently the most comfortable in the world, according to Air France.
The seat will add 2-3" more pitch, as well as having a 15 degree recline. Air France says that at 40% lighter, once fitted across its domestic fleet the seat will cut its CO2 emissions by around 52,000 tonnes per year.
