Air France (airline code AF) is France's flag carrier, founded in 1933, with its hub at Paris Charles de Gaulle, Paris, France.
Air France is now a subsidiary of the Air France-KLM Group, a company listed on the Euronext Paris Stock Exchange.
The French carrier is a founding member of the Skyteam airline alliance and its loyalty programme is called Flying Blue. Its fleet of more than 100 aircraft is a mix of Airbus, Boeing, Embraer and CRJ aircraft serving a multitude of long and short-haul routes. Air France operates the double decker A380 superjumbo and was one of few airlines to fly the Concorde.
Air France flies to 405 destinations worldwide, including those flown by partner carriers. The airline itself serves 80 destinations in 52 countries. In 2012, close to 15 million customers were transported on long-haul routes.
