Air China has a total of 15 of the famous B747-400 jumbo jet.

This type differs from Air China's B747-400M 'combi' which sacrifices some cabin space for a larger cargo hold and as a result offers 64 more seats.

This B747 has 344 seats - ten in first class, 42 in business and a mammoth 292 in economy.

Air China uses the 747-400 on major international routes offering a three-class cabin. They feature new first and business class seating.

Note that this type of aircraft is being phased out.
