First class on the 747 occupies the nose of the aircraft and is in a 1-1 layout (A - L) except for row four, which has four seats labeled A - D,H - L. The pair of seats in the middle here are an obvious choice for those travelling together, but if not, sitting forward should cut out the noise of the galley, which is behind row four.
