ANA's premium economy was first introduced in 2002 and now forms
part of the standard cabin line-up on the intercontinental fleet of
Boeing 747-400s and 777-300ERs.
These aircraft operate on routes to London,
Frankfurt, Paris, New York, Washington DC, Chicago, San Francisco and
Los Angeles from Tokyo Narita.
The seat has 20% more legroom than economy and a configuration of 2-4-2 in a cabin of 24 seats on the B777-300ER or 20 seats
on the B747-400. Seats have adjustable head and leg rests.
Entertainment is via an AVOD system with more than 30 film and TV channels plus 36 audio channels and 10 games.
Boeing 777-300ERs offer an in-seat power point. Premium economy passengers also enjoy a separate menu and amenities kits that include slippers, blankets, eye and face masks, earplugs and toothbrushes.
